In this Edition. AKA the June TL;DR

Yeah, there isn’t going to be a whole lot of creative writing in this here update. We have a lot to cover on the things the HyperJump team accomplished in June. And this was what one crazy old man on an FTMAlerts AMA called “a quiet month”.

So here are the headlines for the month that was June, 2021. Links to Partner projects will be provided on the first mention of that project, later mentions will not be linked, so you might have to scroll up if you miss it the first time.

Key Position Changes

While they had been in the works for awhile, June saw the unveiling of a couple of key positional changes. Four core team managers went on an extended leave; CSin, Decentralized, Theo, and Horn Solo all took a step back for some much needed break, and asking another team member to step up.

Grrrrrr… So much Code!

Angry Mech — Lead Developer. Mech has been a part of the core team since prior to the inception of HyperJump. He has worked with Theo on previous projects, and has been preparing for his moment in the spotlight for months. A new team of developers has been put together under Mech’s direction to shape the future of the HyperJump Code.

Glitch — On the Operations side of things is Glitch, taking on the roll of Project Manager. He has the unenviable duty of keeping us all in line and on task. It’s a tough job, but he’s prepared for it!

He’s also taken the roll of project spokesperson out in the wild, being a part of AMA sessions bringing HyperJump info to the masses.

With these moves, all of the original founders of the Thugs project have moved out of leadership roles, leaving HyperJump strictly in the hands of community members.

No one person is bigger than the project, team members will come and go as the needs of the project and our community demand.

Partnerships

This month we were able to partner with eleven projects, bringing new farms, pools, vaults, and services to our community. Each of the following projects has worked with us to make each of our communities stronger.

AMA Sessions

We love sharing information with the community. We are always up to answer questions from the people involved in our project, and this month we were excited to participate in three AMA sessions. Unfortunately, the Ontology AMAswith Glitch was not recorded, and I would personally avoid the FTMAlerts one, the dude we sent to do that one is senile and has no idea what he is talking about, just kind of rambles along. But hey, if you want to spend an hour of your time watching me ramble, have at it.

Pools

Pools are the Lifeblood of our Mech Staking program. The following five projects helped us give you something to stake your Mechs for this month. Look for more new pools to be coming up soon to give your Mechs new incentive to work hard for you!

  • Ontology (ONT)
  • Siphon (SPHN)
  • Eswapping (ESWAP)
  • Jetfuel (WINGS)
  • Keif (KEIF)

Farms & Vaults

On the other side, providing Liquidity allows our AMM to have more potential trading pairs for people to work with. The more liquidity we have on the AMM, the more volume we can support. The more volume, the more of our Farm tokens we can buy back and burn. This is a good thing.

This month we added 21 new farms for you to earn our Farm token, which then can be turned in to Mechs for reward staking. The following projects were added to our farms this month.

  • Ontology 2
  • Siphon 2
  • Eswapping 2
  • Devault 1
  • Jetfuel 1
  • Keif 1
  • Ren 12

Our Star Vaults are working to compound your earnings. You want that passive income? Vaults get that passive income, increasing your LP tokens over time, your gains make more gains. Just like the farms, this month we added 21 new Vaults this month. Perhaps we need to go find a BlackJack table.

GiveAways/Rewards

We love giving back to the community. This month we sent out $1700 in rewards, plus the value of the airdrop for Early LP Providers on Fantom Network (completing the drop to people who had not received their drop in May). We will continue to give out rewards to the community at every opportunity, supporting those who support us.

  • Early LP (Remaining addresses) : not counted
  • Ontology: $750
  • BSC Times: $200
  • NFTees: $250
  • Upbots: $500

Publications

We wrote some words and things. Here’s the articles you could find by scrolling down our Medium Feed, but we will give you links to make it easier for you.

Security Updates

We are always open to reviews of our code. At the request of the community, we worked with Certik to get our contracts reviewed and addressed. RugDoc also looked over our contracts and gave us one of their highest ratings. We invite any auditing organization to look through our code looking for possible exploits or other problems.

Token Listings

Getting our tokens listed, and properly tracked, by token tracking sites is imperative to getting the project visible to the people who frequent these sites. It has been a challenge to get HyperJump listed on some of these sites, so we appreciate having our information out there and ready for new viewers.

Additional Progress

  • BSC and Fantom Servers Upgraded

We are always working to have the best performing hardware backing up our project. This month our servers for both BSC and Fantom were upgraded to give us additional performance push and a new level of Hyperspeed.

  • Cleared low performing farms

The team reviewed the farms and decided to remove incentives for any farm with less than $5,000 TVL. This will remove some low performing farm pairs, and increase the allocation points to better performing farms. Some APY will see a boost from the reallocation of points.

HyperHeist Demo

Yup. It is finally time for you all to try out Hyper Heist. Stealth Launched as part of the UI update, you can now test out the game before the official release and see what our Game Team has been working on.

Weren’t able to find our little Easter Egg? Okay, well here you go, get to it directly by going here: Hyper Heist

Launch UI 1.5

Speaking of the new UI, you can begin to see it come to life on the BSC side of the project. Starting with our new Dashboard — The Terminal — you can get loads of stats all on one page.

Where was Hyper Heist hiding? Behind that new Bounty Missions tab in the menu there on the left.

Docs Upgraded

Last, but certainly not least, the docs have been getting a much needed overhaul. Head on over to docs.hyperjump.fi to read up all of the updates. You might even find that some of the questions that come up in the social channels are answered right there in easy to read format. imagine that!

Wrapping Up

As I mentioned in the AMA with FTMAlerts, July is going to be a big month for HyperJump. So while this closes the door on June, be on the look out for some big things coming from the team soon.
